Even on the beach, this should not stop you from being stylish :)

Last year I was crazy over the book “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo”. I recently finished watching the movie adaptation of the book, and it was awesome!
Now I’m reading the second book of Stieg Larsson’s trilogy, “The Girl Who Played WIth Fire.” So far so good.
I spent my first day of summer with my awesome bestfriend.
We haven’t seen each other for so long so there was a lot of catching up.
We went shopping. Well she did most of it. haha. I was lucky to be dragged on buying la senza stuff (if you know what I mean).
I was craving for pesto that night so we end up having dinner at Marciano’s. The pizza was great, not so much on the pesto pasta.
My other friends joined us later that evening and we had a blast just talking and fooling around.
Just a perfect way to start my summer vacation.
It’s official, schools off!
I must say, that school year was one heck of a ride, so much has happened. I feel like a different person now, a better one.
So now, the first day of my summer vacation begins.
I have plenty of stuff already planned out for the next two months and I’m so thrilled about it.
To school year 2011-2012, CHEERS!
Hello summer 2012! :)
We went to buy cupcakes, mochi ice cream and spanish bread today at SOPHIE’S MOM.
They baked the best red velvet cupcake ever!
Mochi ice cream was great too and the spanish bread is amazing.
They have a very cute store in Makati and the price is very affordable.
So come visit, if you wanna try amazing cupcakes for a very affordable price.

Forget the past, what matters is now, so..
hold on and enjoy the ride!!
There’s a reason why it’s called the “present”.
epic moments from the 84th Oscars!
watched it all morning.
I’ve been betting for “Moneyball”, ‘cause that’s the only movie I’ve watched among all those nominated.
But “The Artist”, who won Best Picture, look interesting.. we’ll see if it’s worth the award.
MY YABU EXPERIENCE!
YABU
“The House of katsu”
Yabu is a new Japanese restaurant in Manila that people are fuzzing about.
Anyhow, my family had our dinner there last night… and my golly it was indeed the best katsu ever. The whole experienced was new and exciting. You get to do your own tonkatsu sauce (like the pictures above) and eat all you can salad which was amazing. Luckily last night was their food sale treat and they were giving away free appetizers for each table which by the way, also tasted great (pictures above).
The only downside is the place (YABU-SM Megamall branch) is small and tends to get crowded easily so you will end up in the waiting list for quite a long time. But I think they have several branches already so better check that out to avoid waiting in line.
A bit pricey but I must say it’s all worth the penny, I guarantee you that.
Still tasting a bit of that sauce and the salad dressing, can’t wait to come back :)
So go visit YABU now and taste the best kastu in town!
